The relative humidity should not exceed 60%, and the temperature must remain within the range specified by the manufacturer to prevent material deformation or hidden fiber damage . For indoor-rated cables, UV protection is mandatory.

Drum Handling and Orientation

Cables delivered on pallets in a horizontal position should be immediately stored vertically to prevent the winding from loosening and to avoid tension irregularities . Sealing caps on both ends of the cable must be checked and replaced if damaged to prevent contamination or moisture ingress. Mechanical Protection
