Basic Principle

Aluminum spectrometers operate on the principle of atomic emission or absorption spectroscopy, where the interaction of aluminum atoms with energy produces measurable light signals. In spark-atomic emission spectrometry (Spark-AES), a high-energy spark excites atoms in the aluminum sample, causing them to emit light at characteristic wavelengths corresponding to each element present .
